      Dunstable Icknield Lower School News No 2 9^th September 2009.

 

Dear Parents / Carers

                             

STAFFING

Today we welcome Mrs. Sarah Payne to the school, she will be teaching in Mrs. O’Neill’s class whilst Mrs. O’Neill attends to her duties as Deputy Head. Mrs. Tracy Soanes has taken up her post as Learning Platform and Data Manager in the school office.

 

 

 

 

PARKING PERMITS

After months if not years of negotiation we have succeeded in gaining parking permits for Wilkinsons car park. The permits will allow 20 minutes of free parking at the beginning and end of the school day. These will be distributed on a first come basis. A letter will be sent out as soon as the permits are here.

Please remember to park safely.

 

PTA

The AGM will take place on Monday 28^th September @ 7.00 p.m. Everyone welcome!

 

SCHOOL UNIFORM

We have sold a tremendous amount of school uniform this term so we are out of stock of most of the sizes. More has been ordered and is due into school by the 21^st September. If you have not yet received your order, it has been recorded and will be supplied as soon as the next delivery arrives. Thank you for your patience.

We would ask that you clearly mark all your children’s property that they bring to school with their name and hopefully this will reduce the amount of ‘lost’ property.
