Reception coverage of work for week beginning

Literacy
The children will be drawing an Autumnal picture and writing a sentence independently to go with it.
Handwriting, Letters and Sounds and High Frequency word work is ongoing.
Numeracy
We will be making Christmas shaped biscuits. The children will be able to describe and comments on what they do and observe using complete sentences and with confidence.
In Creative development, the children will be carrying on with their calendars, starting work on their clay Christmas trees and making Christmas decorations!
35 days and counting!!!
Contributions will be gratefully accepted, in a named envelope please.
If you have any unwanted Christmas decorations laying around could you please bring them into school we are sure that they will come in very useful.
A letter regarding the last week of term will be coming home very soon..... Watch this space!
